On 8 September 2009, the new Zoning Ordinance was officially adopted by the Hardin County Fiscal Court, after recommendation by the Hardin County Planning and Development Commission and after Public Hearings in accordance with the procedures dictated by the Kentucky Revised Statutes (KRS 100).
