Domestic Violence If you have been the victim of a crime, please contact our office for information about community resources that can assist and to talk to someone who can explain the process of criminal prosecution.

Bad Checks Over 1500 local merchants utilize our office for recovery of restitution when someone gives them a bad check. Our state of the art computer system is the most effective program available to prosecutors for this purpose. Any Hardin County merchant or individual may utilize our office for recovery of the amount of the check plus a $50 fee to the merchant/individual. We handle all accounting and collection and provide a weekly restitution check to the merchant/individual. Please call our or come by our office to initiate this service.

Criminal Prosecution If you need assistance regarding a case pending in Hardin District Court, you may contact our office. We cannot speak to Defendants who are represented by an attorney.

Paternity and Child Support Our child support division in conjunction with the Kentucky Cabinet for Health and Family Services, provides services, without cost to many people, for establishment of paternity, establishmentof financial and medical support for dependents and enforcement/collection of existing child support obligations as well as review of support orders for modification. This is a state and federally funded program. Please contact our office to initiate this service.
